Lucid Foundry is currently hiring for an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist with solid experience in quality management in the product development life cycle process. Our business is built on an unwavering commitment to meticulous quality. The ideal candidate is an exceptionally well organized, methodical professional with the experience necessary to take our products to the next level with respect to accuracy and overall quality.

You will be charged with developing a holistic QA program for our products that includes not just the creation and execution of test cases within the software development life cycle, but also the encouragement of a “quality culture” in which all team members become actively engaged in guaranteeing quality in both the creation and the finished product.

This role has the following responsibilities:

  • Record and document results and compare to expected results.
  • Develop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications.
  • Define test objectives for new features, and write test cases and scripts based on external and internal design specifications.
  • Work closely with development and Product Manager while providing support to track, report, and verify bugs.
  • Manage functional, regression and smoke testing in the final stages of the development life cycle.
  • Provide guidance and set standards for developers as it relates to promoting quality.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to systematically analyze new and/or existing software functionality
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and tech savvy.
  • Ability to interact cohesively in an Agile team environment
  • Independent and self-disciplined/self-starter
  • Project management/bug-reporting tools such as Gitlab or Jira
  • Automated testing tools and ability to configure and implement test cases.
  • Experience working on Agile/Scrum projects.
  • Experience on automation services such as Selenium or Katalon Studio.
  • Experience on other test services such as Ghost Inspector and BrowserStack.
